World Without Waste

IDEO hosted a 1-day workshop to inspire and engage 40 Coca-Cola executives on Treasure Island to imagine a world without waste, through the eyes of the stakeholders in it. Using different future world scenarios such as ‘a world without a personal waste footprint’ or ‘without global distribution’, we challenged our client to push the edges of sustainability mindsets of today. Through a human-centered approach including a shop-along with consumers, a photo journal of future stakeholders, an investment strategy game, and giant persona dice, we structured an event full of edge-thinking by way of play and low-waste design.
